Freescale preparing more East Kilbride job cuts, says report

Freescale Semiconductor Inc., is preparing to make job cuts in the R&D unit at East Kilbride, Scotland, according to an online report by the Evening Times. This comes after Freescale announced plans to close a wafer fab there by mid-2009 with the loss of 800 jobs.
